We Respect and Protect Your Privacy
Please read these terms before using Sora. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
What Sora is
Sora is a cycle wellness app that provides period tracking, daily check-ins, guided audio rituals, cycle insights, and an AI companion ("Sora Companion"). Sora is a wellness and educational tool — it is **not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare.**
Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Sora.
- By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 13.
- If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You may not share your account with others.
- You may only create one account per person.
- You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Your Account.
Subscription & Billing
Free plan
Sora offers a limited free plan including period tracking, a weekly retrospective voice note, and 3 check-ins per week.
Sora Premium
Premium features require a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed in the app before purchase.
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- To cancel, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled.
- We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
Restore purchases
If you have an active subscription and install Sora on a new device, use Settings → Restore Purchase to restore access.
Health & wellness disclaimer
Sora provides cycle tracking, wellness content, and educational information.
**This is not medical advice.**
- Sora does not diagnose health conditions.
- Sora does not replace your doctor, gynaecologist, or other healthcare provider.
- If you have concerns about your health — including irregular cycles, pain, or symptoms — please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
- Information about cycle phases, hormones, and symptoms is for educational purposes only.
Your content
When you enter check-in notes, symptoms, or other content into Sora, you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a limited licence to process and store it in order to provide the service.
We use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to you.
AI features
Sora uses AI (via OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate personalised responses in check-ins and the companion. AI responses:
- Are generated based on your logged data and cycle context
- May occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete
- Are not a substitute for professional advice
- Should not be relied upon for medical decisions
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Sora for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the app
- Use Sora in a way that could harm others
Intellectual property
All content in the app — including guided ritual scripts, audio, design, and copy — is owned by Stephanie Bapes Limited or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Availability and changes
- We may update, pause, or discontinue features at any time
- We will give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect premium subscribers
- We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Stephanie Bapes Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sora Health Co. is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
